Lucy and one more thing. someone hacked my credit card number initially in Costa Rica. it's since made its way elsewhere -- charges came from purchases made in Barcelona last month. in addition to that, someone when nuts buying Winsor Pilates videos (seriously, of ALL the things you could buy with my credit card...). the credit card company closed my account and has momentarily relieved me of those charges.

Lucy i had a great saturday night in new york dining and drinking under the pretext of a "belated birthday." of course, it was also steph's real birthday. it included 2.5 bars, midnight McDonalds, and a few hours of unabashed karaoking. who knew my voice had such stamina for Spice Girls after 3am? being in tune is another question, however...the next day, i met up with Mary and Min for a Mets (vs. Reds) game at Shea. we don't follow baseball beyond the most general news and would gladly substitute spectator sport with Sunday brunch...except Mary wound up with these fabulously free tickets to good seats. i think i have more fun watching other people watching the game, than watching the actual game itself (i also had a lot of fun eating a tasty sausage dog).
